Wally (ウォーリー, U~ōrī) is a former featherweight professional boxer, a former and renowned Indonesian national champion, and the "Last Sun" of world renowned boxing trainer, Miguel Zale.

He was introduced as the third and by far the most difficult Asian champion Ippo Makunouchi has ever faced during the Survival Match of Asian Champions Saga.

Background[]

Miguel inviting Wally into the world of boxing

Wally being invited by Miguel into the world of boxing.

Wally grew up in a tropical island in Indonesia, surrounded by wild monkeys. He was scouted by Miguel Zale, who did so after watching a video of him jumping lithely through the trees, sensing his great boxing potential. When he met Miguel, he was asked if he wanted to try boxing. Wally asked if it is fun, and, after being told that if is him, he will love it, Wally began boxing under him.[8] Wally fought and won in only three matches before becoming the Indonesian featherweight champion.

Volg vs Wally - 03

Wally sparring against Volg.

Wally had an upcoming match against Ippo Makunouchi. While training with Miguel, Wally reassured the worried villagers that he will be fine, as he is not scared of getting hurt or losing, wanting to do whatever it will take to become a world champion and fulfil his dream of sending a message to others to stop messing with nature. Before going to Japan, Wally was taken to the United States of America by Miguel in order to spar. Wally and Miguel went to New York, and Wally sparred against junior lightweight Alexander Volg Zangief. During the spar, Wally acknowledged how strong Volg is, as Wally's attacks were blocked and dodged. When Wally was pushed to a corner, Wally landed a punch by dual exchange after getting out of the corner. Volg stopped the spar afterwards, as he did not want to get serious. Later, Wally travelled with Miguel and his other seconds to Japan for his match against Ippo.

Ippo and Wally first meeting at the weigh-in

Wally forcefully hugging Ippo in his first meeting with him at the weigh-in.

Wally and Miguel went to the weigh-in at the Kōrakuen Hall, where Wally met his opponent, Ippo, for the first time. Wally hugged Ippo and gave him a banana. After Ippo apologised since he had nothing to give back, Wally reassured him that it was fine, as Ippo will give him something the next day. After the weigh-in, Wally went to the ring with Miguel to check it out. Wally deemed the ropes almost perfect to pull off his techniques. After Miguel and Ippo's coach, Genji Kamogawa finished their conversation, Wally believed that Kamogawa was strong when he was young and noticed how Ippo had the same scent as Kamogawa. The next day, Wally went to the Kōrakuen Hall for his match against Ippo. In the dressing room, Wally took a liking for his new ring entrance costume and kept trying to eat a banana despite the many times Miguel told him to stop.

Wally dodging Ippo's punch using his Freedom Style

Wally dodging Ippo's attack with his Freedom Style.

As the match was about to begin, Wally ran ahead of his seconds to the ring. Just as the match began, Wally dashed forward with a punch, which Ippo deflected. After making sure his boxing stance was correct, Wally sprinted forward and attacked Ippo, however, hie punches were blocked. Wally had to get on the defensive as Ippo proceeded to try and hit him. Wally went to the ropes after jumping back to avoid one of Ippo's punches. He blocked Ippo's barrage of punches at the ropes and was able to get out after Ippo tried to land a body blow when Wally's left hook was deflected. However, while Wally fled from the ropes, he was grazed on the chin by Ippo's long ranged left hook, causing him to go down. When Wally got up, Miguel yelled out to him "freedom", which Wally responded by lowering his stance so that he can use his Freedom Style. Wally was charged at by Ippo and dodged his attack by swaying, while landing a glancing blow on his chin in the same manner of how Ippo hit him, however, Ippo stayed standing. Wally swiftly dodged Ippo's punches and hit him in unusual angles with his Freedom Style until the first round ended. At the corner, Wally noticed that Ippo is different when he fights, which Miguel pointed out that that is what a professional means, advising him to study that part of him.

Ippo chasing Wally

Wally dodging multiple attacks by Ippo.

In the second round, as Wally dodged Ippo's punches, he was led to the ropes. With his back to the ropes, Wally was approached by Ippo in his Peek-a-Boo Style. Wally saw an opening down below the guard, and struck Ippo's jaw with a Smash, pushing Ippo back. After Miguel shouted for Wally to keep Ippo away, Wally entered the Hitman Style and began throwing Flicker Jabs at Ippo, however, they hit his block. When Ippo got close to Wally after blocking the jabs, Wally evaded Ippo's punch. At a distance, Wally threw more Flicker Jabs that get dodged by Ippo's bob and weave motion. As Wally moved to dodge Ippo's attacks when he got close, Wally was led to the corner due to Ippo's zigzag strategy, however, the second round ended right as Wally got into a corner. At his corner, Wally was asked by Miguel if he noticed anything about the way Ippo chased him down, to which Wally replied that he has to study him more.

Wally using his rope technique

In the third round, Wally evaded Ippo's attacks as Ippo tried to put Wally into a corner. When Wally jumped and was heading toward a corner, he stopped himself by grabbing the ropes and flinging himself to go behind Ippo, delivering a one-two to the surprised Ippo after. Wally used the same tactic again, making Ippo panic. Wally proceeded to hit the confused Ippo with unorthodox punches while jumping around and dodging Ippo's attacks, even overwhelming Ippo in an in-fight. When Wally was about to use the ropes to avoid a punch from Ippo, he got surprised by Ippo's wild swing and jumped to the right, making him go to a corner. Wally was able to swiftly dodge Ippo's combinations at the corner. Wally landed a counter at the corner, letting him escape. After blocking a big punch from Ippo, which caused his arms to sting, Wally put himself into a corner as Ippo went towards him to attack. Wally escaped the corner and delivered a counter on Ippo. Wally began attacking Ippo's Cross-Arm Block until he pries it open. However, when he was about to hit Ippo with a left, the third round ended. At his corner, Wally told Miguel how his arms stung when he blocked a desperate right, making him unable to finish him, however, he claimed that they were better now.

Ippo touching Wally's body for the first time

Wally's body getting tapped by Ippo for the first time.

When the fourth round began, after dodging multiple attacks, Wally switched to the offence, stopping his footwork and having a close ranged exchange with Ippo, where Wally's punches were the only one landing. Wally ended the exchange with a punch that sent Ippo back. As Ippo came towards Wally with a tight guard and aimed for a body blow, Wally battered him with punches at every attempt. However, Ippo eventually put his body onto Wally's, and Wally was tapped with a left body blow, confusing Wally. Wally retaliated, hitting Ippo with a couple punches as the fourth round ended. At his corner, Wally decided that if Ippo can not teach him anything else about boxing, he is done with him. In the fifth round, Wally used fast footwork and hit Ippo with many unpredictable punches throughout the round, and Wally was only hit with five taps on his body by Ippo. After the five taps to his body, Wally hit Ippo repeatedly at a corner until the fifth round ended. At his corner, Wally believed to be done with Ippo, planning to end it as he doesn't find it fun anymore. While leaving the corner for the sixth round, Wally felt as if Miguel hit his leg with the stool.

In the sixth round, Wally faced Ippo in a close range exchange, where Wally hit Ippo with strong punches multiple times, and Wally got tapped on his body six times. Wally ended the exchange after throwing Ippo back with a powerful punch. Wally charged at Ippo and blocked a punch from Ippo that also sent him back. Wally got into a corner, and hit Ippo's head after Ippo tried to attack Wally at the corner. Then, Ippo threw a big swing at Wally, who jumped backwards and stumbles upon landing. The sixth round immediately ends after, and, at the corner, Wally was advised that if he can't break Ippo's spirit, then he would have to make him unconscious by aiming a punch at the side of his temple. While leaving the corner for the seventh round, Wally felt as if one of his seconds hit his leg with the stool.

In round seven, Wally attacked Ippo with multiple punches while dodging Ippo's punches that were thrown with all his power into it. Wally attempted to use footwork to go around Ippo and aim for the side of his temple, however, he could not use his legs for footwork or to jump, causing him to have to block Ippo's punches. Realising that he needed to breathe, Wally breathed and, at the same time, blocked a powerful blow by Ippo, getting sent to the ropes and beginning to bleed. After Wally landed a counter and was hit by an uppercut, both boxers hit each other in an exchange, with Wally being worse off. Wally put his guard up, however, it was blown away by a punch, and Wally was sent to the ropes as the seventh round ended. At his corner, Miguel noticed that there is an imprint of Ippo's fist on the right side of Wally's body where he was tapped multiple times. Wally mentioned to Miguel how he saw a vision of Ippo's hands grabbing his legs, wondering when Ippo started to slowly take his footwork away.

Ippo defeating Wally

In the eighth round, Wally and Ippo had a slug fest in the middle of the ring, which ended when Wally was hit with a liver blow. Wally willingly backed up to a corner, which Ippo responded by approaching him while doing the Dempsey Roll's motion. Ippo used the Dempsey Roll's motion to make Wally unable to escape the corner. Both boxers stopped moving, and Wally was hit with a liver blow. Wally was then hit by a right, which triggered Miguel into throwing the towel into the ring as Wally fell. The referee signalled an end to the match, resulting in Wally's loss. As Wally walked out of the ring, he acknowledged that he now knows how painful boxing can be, however, he realised for the first time that boxing can be fun. Before leaving the venue, Wally announced his desire to go with Miguel to New York and fight who ever he wants, wanting to meet and learn from other boxers, and have Miguel take him to the world stage.

At some point, Wally relinquished his Indonesian featherweight title.

Grim Reaper to the World Arc[]

Wally meeting Volg at the Marvelous gym

Wally arriving to the Marvelous gym and meeting Volg.

After becoming ranked third in the WBA, Wally had a match scheduled to go against the WBA featherweight champion, Ricardo Martínez. In Indonesia, Wally went with Miguel to set sail to their final stop. Wally and Miguel arrive to the Marvelous Gym in New York City, New York, United States of America. There, they met with the IBF junior lightweight world champion Volg, and his trainer Dankichi Hama. Wally was happy to see Volg again and learned that the latter will be the semi to his and Ricardo's match, meaning that they will be sharing a training camp together, and three world rankers will act as sparring partners. Wally was welcomed into "Team White Fang," receiving a shirt with the logo of a wolf on it to wear while training.

Alpha and Omega Arc[]

Wally and Volg talking about Wally wanting to repay Miguel

Wally and Volg talking about the former wanting to repay Miguel.

During a spar at the Marvelous Gym, Wally and Volg had to be stopped by their trainers as they were having an argument about how Wally is irritated that Volg keeps telling him he can't do what he requests. Frustrated that Volg called his attacks fouls, Wally ran out of the gym as Volg follows him. Wally revealed to Volg that he wants to be a zoologist, wanting to be close to animals and to know why animals are dying out by topics such as deforestation, environmental pollution, and global warming. Wally claimed that Miguel taught him many things outside of boxing, wanting to repay him by becoming the world champion. Volg thinks Wally is incredible for thinking about environmental issues, but believes that he has no chance of winning against Ricardo, however, the chances of him shaking off the darkness aren't zero.

Wally greets Ippo in Mexico

Wally meeting Ippo in Mexico.

When Wally's match again Ricardo drew near, Wally went with Miguel to Marascas and Milo Scamaras' Lucha Lucha Gym in Mexico, where he stayed with Volg and Dankichi to train. Wally and Volg had sparring partners, however, they defeated them to the point of being too injured to spar anymore. When Wally found out that Ippo was coming to Mexico, he excitedly looked for him. When he found the vehicle that Ippo was in, and jumped on top of the vehicle, he greeted him, scaring everyone in the vehicle. When everyone arrived to the Lucha Lucha gym, Wally shook hands with Ippo and attempted to shake hands with Sendō, however, Sendō knocked his hand away, wanting to trade knuckles instead.

Sendō and Wally sparring

Wally sparring against Sendō.

Wally soon began to spar against Sendō, with both having no headgear on. Wally dodged multiple punches from Sendō. As both ran next to each other in the ring, Sendō cut in front of Wally and threw a Smash. It grazed Wally since he turn his head to avoid a direct hit. Wally sent out quick jabs that he pulls back before it can hit Sendō before moving away with footwork. Wally threw the Smash that he saw Sendō do, which hit the shocked Sendō's guard. Wally feinted with the Hien and moves away from Sendō to get on the ring's ropes. Sendō, irritated, tried to attack Wally as the latter runs on the ropes. Wally got off the ropes and dodged Sendō's punches, however, he got trapped at a corner. Sendō threw a left and right body blow, but Wally blocked the left and moved out of the way of the right. Wally ran on the ropes again while Sendō yells at him to come back down. When it was time for Ippo and Volg to spar, Sendō got out of the ring and told Wally to get out as well, however, Wally decided to stay on top of one of the ring's corner posts to watch. Wally watched as Ippo and Volg began sparring. The sparring was stopped by Sendō as Ippo was starting his Dempsey Roll since it was only supposed to be a "touch spar". Ippo slept in a room upstairs while Miguel and Wally watched over him. When Ippo got up, Wally asked Ippo, since he retired, if he no longer likes boxing, something Ippo taught him was fun and why he won't come back. Ippo answered that he still loves boxing, and, while he doesn't answer why he quit, he claimed that he is giving it his all to show everyone the greatness of boxing now. Wally expressed his excitement for his match against Ricardo, wanting Ippo to watch and be excited for the world's best and his win.

Ricardo and Wally at their press conference

Later, at the Arena México, he partook in his press conference for his match against Ricardo. After Ricardo told the press that the belt will not change hands, Wally, after sticking his tongue out at Ricardo, confessed that he doesn't care about the belt, only excited to fight the strongest man in the world. When Wally claimed that it will be a fun match, Ricardo noted how none of the boxers that faced him said it was "fun", however, Wally replied that he will be the first, and that he will win. Wally was prevented from further discussion as Volg stepped in and carried Wally out of the room for being rude to the world champion. Afterwards, when Miguel was trying to get Ippo to agree with becoming a second for Wally, the latter helped Miguel guilt trip Ippo into agreeing.

Wally landing the first blow on Ricardo

Wally landing the first blow on Ricardo.

The next day, Wally went to the Arena México. In his room, he hit the mitts with Miguel and watched Volg's second IBF junior lightweight title defence on TV as it began. After Volg won by a one round knockout, Wally was excited, rolling around and doing flips before congratulating Dankichi. When his WBA featherweight world title match against Ricardo was about to begin, Wally arrived to the ring and perched himself on top of his corner post waiting for it to begin. When the match began, Wally made a mad dash toward Ricardo. Even though Ricardo moved out of the way, Wally did not change course, instead, he bounced himself off the corner post to face Ricardo once more. Wally chased Ricardo continuously, and, when he ducked lower and ran past him again, Wally hit Ricardo in the face by a right overhand. Wally hid behind the referee and threw a punch at Ricardo, but was disappointed when he missed. Both boxers face each other again, with Ricardo holding both fists up in a high guard to observe, and Wally wide open as he puts his hands behind his back. Wally feinted a right overhand before throwing a left uppercut which changed trajectory mid-way into a hook. At that point, Ricardo blocked the hook, and Wally quickly retreated. Wally threw quick left jabs at Ricardo's guard, bounced himself off the ropes, and went behind the referee to limit Ricardo's sight on him before throwing more left jabs at his guard. As Wally continued running around the ring, the first round ended.

In the second round, Wally approached Ricardo and threw punches at Ricardo's high guard before landing a left body blow and taking a distance, a tactic he repeats for the rest of the round. In the third round, Ricardo attempted to hit Wally as he went for the left body blow, however, since Wally was taught how to deal with such a situation, Wally was able to dodge the attack and throw a punch towards Ricardo's face. Ricardo blocked the attack, and the third round ended shortly after.

Wally countering Ricardo's body blow attempt

As round four began, Wally started off by hanging onto the ropes with both feet off the canvas. Wally left the ropes and threw jabs at Ricardo's guard before going back to the ropes. Wally bounced off the ropes again and threw a right uppercut from a low angle and with both feet coming off the canvas, missing Ricardo. Ricardo tried to take the opportunity to attack Wally while he was open, however, Wally used the ropes to bounce off to the side to avoid Ricardo's attack before his feet touched the canvas. With both boxers at a distance, Wally motioned his hand, telling Ricardo to come on. Wally and Ricardo enter an in-fight, with Ricardo throwing left jabs, and Wally using unorthodox punches. Both boxers did not land a hit, and the in-fight ended when Wally threw a left Cross Counter that Ricardo barely blocked with one hand. As Wally saw Ricardo go for a body blow, he knocks Ricardo's fist down and hits his face with a right hook, with the fourth round ending shortly after. At Wally's corner, Wally is warned by the referee that if he keeps using the ropes too much, points will be deducted. With Miguel deciding for Wally to keep his feet on the ground and allowing him to trade punches with the super champion, Wally is cheerful that he doesn't have to hold back from trading punches.

Ricardo and Wally exchanging punches at close range

Wally and Ricardo exchanging punches at close range.

As the fifth round began, Wally and Ricardo entered an exchange where neither one lands a blow on each other for a while until Wally is hit with a fast left jab to his face. Wally kept Ricardo at bay with a barrage of punches coming from many different angles hitting his guard and getting dodged. Wally got hit by three left jabs on his face in between the barrage. Wally used footwork to get away and ran into the referee accidentally due to losing control. Wally dodged left jabs while moving around Ricardo and threw unorthodox punches that also got blocked. As Ricardo pressed forward while hitting Wally's face with three more left jabs, he traps Wally at a corner. Wally went down after Ricardo landed a one-two on his face. When Wally got up, despite using Corner Work to try and escape, he was trapped by Ricardo's jabs as well as getting hit in the face with jabs. Suddenly, Wally threw a barrage of punches at Ricardo's guard to try and get out using force. Wally got hit by two fast left jabs and then dodged a right. Wally got hit with a left body blow, and immediately responded with a left uppercut that Ricardo blocked as the fifth round ended. At Wally's corner, Wally told Ippo how it was thanks to him that he withstood Ricardo's body blows, as he trained his body ever since his fight with him, thanking him. Wally also told Ippo to tell Sendō that the rest is up to him. Wally was advised Miguel's final trump card: be free and just have fun.

Ricardo defeating Wally

Wally getting defeated by Ricardo.

When the sixth round began, Wally went to the centre of the ring and stomped his feet to signal an exchange with Ricardo. Wally and Ricardo had a close range exchange at the centre of the ring. At first, Ricardo's punches landed precisely on their target, and Wally missed his punches, however, both boxers landed a straight on each other's face in a dual exchange. Wally spun his neck to nullify the damage, letting him regain his footing faster than Ricardo. Wally went toward Ricardo and sent out a right, however, he lost his balance and rolled on the canvas all the way to the ropes, causing a slip to be declared. Wally got up immediately. Ricardo stomped his foot down, signalling for Wally to continue fighting him as the centre of the ring. Another exchange happened between Ricardo and Wally at the centre of the ring, with both boxers landing hits on each other. After Ricardo threw a few high punches to make Wally's body open, Ricardo landed a liver blow. Thanks to fighting Ippo, Wally was able to continue, throwing and missing another punch. Ricardo feinted a left jab and landed a right straight on Wally, sending him down. Wally got up immediately and the match continued. As Wally and Ricardo's close range exchange that Ricardo is dominating in continued, Wally thought how Miguel has let him go to many new places, meeting new people, letting him have this fun match, and is thankful to him for everything. Wally hit his legs to prevent them from sleeping before going out and attacking Ricardo's guard with more punches that made Ricardo get pushed back. After getting hit by counters, Wally decided to start throwing Smashes, barely missing Ricardo. After missing another Smash, Wally got hit by a right counter. Wally stayed standing, however, just as Wally was about to throw another one, he got hit by a right straight, sending him down. The referee ended the match immediately, resulting in Wally's loss.

When Ricardo walked over to Wally, Wally regained consciousness and stuck his tongue out at Ricardo, proclaiming that he won. Miguel helped him up, and Wally told Miguel that he was satisfied, but knew he can't do that again. Afterwards, Wally became hospitalised and unconscious. Afterwards, Wally retired from boxing, and his right eye may never fully recover.

Appearance[]

Wally - PS3 - 01

Wally's appearance.

Wally has dark skin and a muscular, but nimble build. He has black eyes and long upper-back-length shaggy black hair with bangs going over his forehead, as well as chin-length framing strands.

His attire during his match against Ippo consisted of boxing trunks with a downward spike-like design from the top to the middle that are black with red edges, and yellow loose feather-shaped edges at the bottom, giving it a skirt-like look. He had his name "WALLY" on the nameplate, and he wore black boxing shoes.

His attire for his ring entrance in his match against Ricardo consisted of a jacket that matches his unique boxing trunks: it is a slick dark coloured jacket that is light coloured with spots at the arms, collar, and sides. It has a monkey's head on the back, with "WARLEE" written above. His boxing trunks that are open at the sides, letting the back and front wave around while moving, are dark coloured in the middle, light coloured with spots at the edges. He wears black shorts underneath the trunks, as well as a brown monkey tail. Also, his boxing shoes have a dark color (with an unknown color hue) and he wears black socks.

Personality[]

Having grown up on an island with little formal education, Wally is naive and simple-minded. He views training as if it were a game but also dreams of becoming a world-renowned boxer in order to protect the environment of his homeland. Regardless, Wally is said to have an amazing amount of boxing sense. After his loss against Japanese boxer Makunouchi, Wally describes his great developing love for boxing and expresses his wishes to continue on despite having been beaten.

Boxing Abilities[]

Wally VS Ippo 4th Round

Wally fighting Ippo.

Having been raised in the jungles of an Indonesian island, Wally has great physical abilities as a result of climbing trees and jumping tree branches while playing with the monkeys. His physical abilities were grown to the point that they are equal to, if not greater than, a primate's. Boxing-wise, Wally possesses an absolutely colossal amount of natural talent, stated by Ricardo Martínez to be the highest he has ever seen[10], and he is is considered by many to be a genius. While barely knowing even the basics of boxing and its rules, Wally was able to easily become Indonesian champion after a mere three official fights.

His innate sense and physical prowess allowed him to perform high-level techniques, such as the unique dodging and swaying used by Hawk, the Smash Sendō uses as a trademark finisher and Mashiba's Flicker Jab. However, he never actually learned or even seen these techniques, and only used them because it intuitively made sense to do so in the situation. He was also able to copy the Hien from Volg and even create a vertical version of it unique to him, due to his abnormally flexible joints. His speed and agility is comparable to that of Miyata but is more similar to Itagaki's evasive nature. On top of his agility, Wally also possesses an unnatural flexibility in joints, allowing him to perform acrobatics that seem utterly impossible to normal people. Furthermore, he has a great amount of animal instincts similar to Volg and Sendō. His style let him easily use both out boxing and in-fighting styles since he could get away quick enough and he had little difficulty seeing and deflecting attacks at super close range. Takamura mentioned that his in-fighting was similar to Itagaki, who stays at close range but used footwork rather than punching to fight an opponent and then turned the fight in his favour. By combining his superhuman athleticism, reflexes and wild instincts, he created an extremely unpredictable and unorthodox boxing style called "Freedom", though he was also taught the basics of orthodox boxing. The press has also given him the name Alpha as his irregular style and wild instincts make him appear to "pre-date" textbook boxing theory - in contrast to Ricardo who has perfected the orthodox style.

Through the teachings of Miguel Zale, he has adopted a highly effective tactic aimed at getting TKOs. By making use of the incredible flexibility and speed of his punches, he can throw them from all kinds of angles and blind spots, making it nearly impossible to guard against them. Wally makes use of this by consistently going for the opponent's eyes. Even if they're not thrown at full power, the sharp quality of his punches easily opens cuts above his opponent's eyes, forcing a doctor stop - a tactic that allowed him to rack up an impressive KO streak despite not being a power puncher. Even the great Ricardo was forced to turtle for multiple rounds before he managed to launch a counter-offensive.

Wally's True Form Techniques[]

Techniques[]

Weaknesses[]

Wally was an inexperienced boxer when he fought Ippo Makunouchi, given the impact of his loss of footwork, increasing pressure, dropping stamina, and incremental damage were all foreign to him. As a result, he didn't concern himself with a possible relationship between his slowing footwork and Ippo's repeating body blows. Similar to many other out-boxers, if Wally loses his footwork, he becomes much easier to fight with an in-fighter style. However, he also displayed great infighting talent against Ippo early in their match, therefore limiting the impact of a loss of footwork, should the loss occur early enough. Since his fight with Ippo, it has been shown that he has overcome this weakness and is now constantly on guard against possible body-shots. As many opponents have had the same strategy, to take away his agility by going for body shots, Wally has adapted over time and become extremely adept at countering these attempts.

One remaining weakness is that his Freedom Style costs a great amount of stamina due to the constant high levels of athleticism it requires. Although Wally does not seem to lack stamina in particular, he is not used to fighting at higher altitudes, which created an additional drain on his stamina during his fight with Ricardo Martinez in Mexico and ultimately led him to run out of breath. With the sharpness of his movements being gradually worn down, Ricardo's precise punches were able to finally penetrate his evasive defence.

Trivia[]

  • His nickname during the Alpha and Omega Arc, "Warlee" is a play on his name by separating two parts of his name "ウォー" (war) and "リー" (lee).
