Unorthodox Boxing Styles are methods of boxing that are alien to the boxing sport itself.
Boxers who apply these methods fall outside the triangle of in fighters, out boxers, and hybrids because they punch and utilise footwork differently from other boxers, though occasionally there is some overlap. Some boxers are even borderline illegal. (Masaru Aoki, for instance.)
Stance[]
An Unorthodox Boxing Stance is any stance that doesn't routinely follow the conventions of an Orthodox Stance. Southpaw is the most common and polarised example of this, so much so that it may be regarded as a convention of its own. Any stance that falls under this umbrella is therefore neither orthodox nor necessarily southpaw, but something entirely unique instead. An example of this would be Ippo's Peek-a-Boo Style.
