The Tornado Jolt (竜巻・JOLT, Tatsumaki JOLT) is a refined version of the Jolt Blow. It is achieved by twisting the body to build momentum then launch the blow. It requires extreme lower body strength to perform the move.
Usage[]
The Tornado Jolt is a typical hook where the user twists their body to its limits, the speed of the hook increases dramatically, giving a big amount of additional power. If fired at very close range, it will either make the opponent jump far away from the boxer or knock his head off. Takamura Mamoru is capable of performing this move on one foot.
Since the Tornado Jolt is performed with a twisting motion and not a thrusting one, it's hard to punish counter-wise, and on the off-chance that it misses it can be thrown in combinations, in a way making it a more compact version of the Dempsey Roll.
One major weakness is its extremely slow and obvious wind-up. It's practically a telegraphed right hook from a distance, however, the user can use step-ins to decrease the time the opponent has to react or escape. It may also make the user lose balance.
