Summary
With no strength or speed, Miyata chases after Gregory with nothing but spirit. Not knowing why he feels the pressure when he looks into Miyata's eyes, Gregory backs away despite the fact that he is not being hurt. Miyata then sees the opportunity for another counter which he throws, but it never lands as the bell rings and ends the round.
In the champion's corner, Sakaguchi tells Gregory to be serious or their business will lose money. Upset about Sakaguchi bringing the subject up, Gregory ends their partnership on the spot, but thanks him for bringing him such a strong opponent. Sakaguchi threatens him, but he replies that he will defeat Miyata on his own and move on to the world. Miyata, who is barely conscious, states he still has enough in him for one more. Miyata's father realizes that he is at his limit, and that the next round will be the final round for sure.
When the bell rings, Miyata motions for Gregory to go after him, to which the latter responds to by accepting the duel.
