Summary
While Ippo is resting from the training for his last match (in which for the first time he barely got touched), a bored Takamura drops by looking for something fun to do, as there is no one else at the gym. He goes through Ippo's pictures and mementos (accidentally destroying them) and once he is bored, they go to Aoki's place.
Once at Aoki's, they ask him about his past and Takamura once again goes through his album's pictures. He notices a younger Aoki with a different hairstyle, along with Kimura, who has an even funnier hairstyle and laughs at them. Feeling annoyed as well about Takamura's presence in his room, Aoki leaves with them for Kimura's house.
Upon arrival, they are informed by Kimura's mother that he has a fever so they immediately go to his room. There they find out that he is actually heartbroken due to Reiko's actions the previous night. He says that he is over her already but the fact that he named his dragon fish "Reiko", proves otherwise. Ippo once again notices the same pictures that were in Aoki's room and asks them how they got into boxing.
