Takada Teruhiko is non-recurring character in Hajime no Ippo. He is a featherweight boxer from Maeda Boxing Gym.

Takada fought with Miyata Ichirou in East Japan Rookie King Tournament. Before the match, his trainer told him to go for body blows, so that Miyata would not be able to use his footwork. Takamura Mamoru and Makunouchi Ippo attended the match as the latter had a similar boxing style. When the fighting started, Takada noted that Miyata wanted an in-fight as well. Angered about this, he immediately attacked, but Miyata avoided all his blows. Once clinching, Takada began attacking once again, but Miyata managed to successfully block all his punches. After landing three punches that did not affect his opponent, he fell victim to a vicious counter and lost consciousness immediately. He was later removed in a stretcher.

Takada is a gloomy person. When he fought with Miyata, one could see that he quickly turned to anger.

Takada has a tanned, fit body. He has a dark eye color, thick eyebrows, short messy brownish-black hair, visible cheekbones and a large nose.

Boxing styleEdit

Takada's boxing style is infighting, as an infighter, his better strikes are hooks, he also clinches.
