Summary
After the bell rings for the 3rd round, Ippo Makunouchi starts using his Peek-A-Boo style. Ippo launches off the canvas but Gonzales backs off and tries to keep his out boxing. Ippo doesn't give up and dashes towards Gonzales but he backs off again. Crowd starts yelling that they want a real fight. Ippo dodges every punch from Gonzales and dashes forward. At last Gonzales makes a good distance and keeps fighting with his out boxing.
In the crowd Sendou doesn't like Gonzales's fighting style and Mashiba explains that, Ippo's every body blow has an incredible effect. He mentions, his busting elbow and Sendou's broken ribs are the results of Ippo's body blows. For Mashiba, it's a smart move to keep himself out of the danger.
In the other side of the crowd, Fujii and Miyata talks to each others. Fujii also thinks that, this is an understandable reason. Miyata doubts, because if it's goes like this, Ippo has no chance of winning.
In the ring Ippo, starts learning all of Gonzales's tricks. Ippo dodges a hidden right behind Gonzales's left fist. Everybody gets surprised because, after getting hit with all those punches, Ippo now understands whats coming next and Coach Kamogawa thinks that their boxing will be effective.
