SummaryEdit

Sendou's powerful shot causes Shigeta to lose his mouthpiece and fall to the floor. Kamogawa finally notices Sendou's new muscles and realizes it was Yanaoka ho helped the champion achieve them. As Shigeta lies in pain, his trainer yells at him to stand up. Shigeta gets on his feet and appears to be calm, as he expected the current situation could happen. He remembers the plan for the right-cross counter and is ready to keep fighting. As Sendou closes in with a left, Shigeta throws his counter, but Sendou's new speed is more than the challenger can handle. Sending Shigeta to the ropes with a powerful blow, Sendou is relentless and keeps hitting Shigeta despite the fact that he is unconscious while standing. Ippo yells at Sendou to stop, but Kamogawa remarks that he is trying to kill him, and yells at Shigeta's corner to throw the towel. Shigeta's trainer is too focused on having lost the belt and is unable to throw in the towel. When the referee stops Sendou, Shigeta finally falls to the canvas and Sendou is declared the winner without a count.

With the match over, Kamogawa tells Ippo that Shigeta's career is over and it is his trainer's fault. Sendou makes his way to the downed opponent and kneels in front of him. However, despite the gentleman attitude everyone assumes Sendou is having, the champion tells Shigeta that since they will not be fighting ever again, he will let him know (as a response to the continuous taunts) that that is what he has.
