Kazuhiko Hirano (平野 和彦, Hirano Kazuhiko) is a non-recurring character in Hajime no Ippo.
He is middleweight boxer from Tōhō Boxing Gym, who fought Takamura Mamoru.
Part I[]
Early Days Arc[]
As part of a main event, Hirano faced against Takamura Mamoru in the ring, who he believed has suffered from weight control. When the match began, Hirano went on the offensive with heavy jabs that were blocked by Takamura. Hirano attempted to block Takamura's punch, but his guard was blown off, he was then hit by a powerful blow that knocked him out, resulting in Hirano losing the match.

Hirano has slicked-back black hair, black eyes, and a thin moustache. He has a well-built muscular toned body. His boxer shorts are dark blue and yellow with black letters labelled KAZU, his shoes are blue and white.

Etymology[]
- The name Kazuhiko means "harmony, peace" (和) (kazu) and "boy, prince" (彦) (hiko).
- Kazuhiko's surname Hirano means "plain, open field" (平野).
