Summary
At an appointment with Dr. Yamaguchi, Ippo receives a specially made rubber to reduce impact from the doctor, who tells him to put it inside his gloves to avoid injuring his hand.
Aoki, who got Yagi to lend him a car, takes Ippo to a gym where he will be having the first of five upcoming sparring matches with opponents from weight classes above his, as part of his training menu before the title match.
