The Beetle's Uppercut is a technique invented by Takamura Mamoru due to the fact that he is the only boxer in the main protagonists group not having a finishing move (with an animal theme).

The attack is in fact, almost identical to the orthodox uppercut. Upon creating this move, Takamura donned a beetle costume, earning complaints from the audience, the move was later proved ineffective when used several times with no success in the match. It was mentioned by Rickey Mouse that the Beetles Uppercut also induced a scorching heat right in front of his face during the match.
